Astera AST-QUKPN for accurate punch, fast operation. This wireless spotlight with Fresnel lens features a 13º–60º zoom, zero stray light, and delivers 8,000 lux at 3 meters - all with just 75W of power. (650 W equivalent.) It’s not only a future-proof investment, but also a fixture every event, film, or broadcast crew will want on set.

QuikPunch does not only feature a 13º – 60º zoom range; it is also optimized for a sharper, easier to control optical footprint. It outputs a zero-spill, accurate beam that reminds of a theatrical PC projector, but it can also work as a traditional 650 W Fresnel spotlight when the EdgeSoftener filter is added.

QuikPunch is really bright, and its 60º beam angle makes it an excellent wash light to evenly lit large surfaces. But unlike traditional Fresnels, QuikPunch allows you to accurately cut the light via barndoors even at 45º – no need to flood it to get a sharp and controlled beam shape.

• The fastest way to prep
The combination of PrepBox and ChargingPlate are the ideal setup and charging tools for prepping up to 8 QuikPunch at the same time. Specifically designed for flight-case integration, allows for any software adjustment or App pairing in 10 seconds.

Astera QuickPuns features:

• QuikTurn
As simple as it seems. Adjust QuikPunch’s beam angle from 13º to 60º by simply turning the barrel. QuikTurn will stop at 30º to indicate that you are in the middle of the zoom range.

• Barndoors with SafetyLink
As easy to operate as always, this 8-way barndoor benefits from the QuikPunch’s Fresnel-based accurate beam performance, even when QuikTurn’s zoom is not at flood position. Zero light spill, SafetyLink attachment with 360º rotation, and highest quality of construction.

• Rotatable elliptical filter
While QuikPunch is designed to hold all existing AX9 filters and front attachments, it works especially well with the Rotatable 17º x 46º Elliptical Filter. It is the best way to widen the beam coverage along both the vertical and horizontal axes.

• EdgeSoftener filter for QuikPunch
Emulate the traditional, retro look of Tungsten Fresnels without adding light spill. The EdgeSoftener filter is a useful accessory when a frost effect is needed for a better wrap in camera, or to slightly soften the cut in the background.

• Removeable Yoke; foldable feet
On the floor or in the truss: the removeable Yoke is a very versatile attachment for tilt adjustment, it has two foldable feet, and it comes with an inbuilt airline track. And yes, you can mount or release QuikPunch’s yoke in a matter of seconds.

• KickStand
To angle an elegant uplight or washlight has never been so easy. QuikPunch integrates our popular KickStand in the back of the housing for tilt focusing when no yoke is used.

• TrackPin Compact
Optimized for fast replacement, fine adjustment and short-length clamp attachment, the TrackPin Compact is a lightweight and easy-to-use accessory for QuikPunch removable yoke. It fits anywhere while facilitating simple and quick mounting; the perfect companion for popular SuperClamps.

• TrackSpigot 28/16
Designed as the best way to switch from floor or truss mounting to a professional tripod, the TrackSpigot 28/16 lets you attach both a 28mm pin and a 16mm receiver to the QuikPunch removeable yoke – one of the most useful accessories for a filmmaker.

• 3/8" Thread
This pin-ready thread in the back of QuikPunch minimizes the visual impact on those installations where a yoke is not needed, offering an alternative mounting method for gobo heads or low-profile clamps.

• FlexCovers
FlexCovers are the best solution for corporate events where luminaries must be integrated into the environment. Made out of a flexible, lightweight material and attached via velcro, FlexCovers are available in White and Mirror looks.

• TiltMeter
Designed to assist with accurate fixture positioning, the TiltMeter is a software-based tool displayed on the OLED screen. When the Astera button is pressed (while not connected to the ChargingPlate), the display switches to show only the tilt angle, thanks to the built-in accelerometer. Pressing the button again returns the display to standard mode after focusing is complete.
