About the data processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where we store them (or have them stored), what security techniques we use and for whom the data is transparent.


Web shop software

Shopfactory / Santu

Our webshop is developed with software from ShopFactory/Santu. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of providing our services will be shared with this party. ShopFactory/Santu has access to your data to provide (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. ShopFactory/Santu is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption when processing your order data when placing an order.

You can not create (customer) accounts with us when placing an order.


E-mail and mailing lists

Inboxify

Our website uses Inboxify and Sohosted. Inboxify is a third party that handles the sending of any newsletters. Sohosted is a third party that handles e-mail traffic from our website. All confirmation emails that you receive from our website and web forms are sent through Sohosted's servers. Inboxify and Sohosted will never use your name and email address for their own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail that is sent automatically via our website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. If you click on this link, you will no longer receive e-mail from our website. This can seriously reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data will not be stored by Inboxify and Sohosted. Inboxify and Sohosted use cookies and other Internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. Inboxify and Sohosted reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share information with third parties in this context.

Sohosted and Easy Add In

We use the services of Sohosted and Easy Add In for our regular business e-mail traffic. These parties have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Sohosted and Easy Add In do not have access to our inbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.


Payment processors

PayPal

For handling (part of) the payments in our webshop we use the platform of PayPal. PayPal processes your name, address and place of residence and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. PayPal has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. PayPal reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and in this context to share (anonymized) data with third parties. PayPal shares personal data and information relating to your financial position with credit rating agencies in the event of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility). All of the above safeguards relating to the protection of your personal data also apply to the components of PayPal's services for which they engage third parties. PayPal does not retain your data longer than permitted by law.


Shipping and logistics

SelectCourier / FedEx

If you place an order with us it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of SelectCourier and FedEx to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence with SelectCourier and FedEx. SelectCourier and FedEx uses this information only for the execution of the agreement. In the event that SelectCourier or FedEx engages subcontractors, SelectCourier and FedEx will also make your details available to these parties.


Invoicing and bookkeeping

Davilex

We use the services of Davilex to keep our administration and bookkeeping up to date. This is an offline package so no data is shared with Davilex.


External sales channels

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of processing

We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you - other than at your request - at a later time, we ask your explicit permission to do so. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to secrecy on the basis of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.


Automatically collected data

Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (e.g. your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.


Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations

Where appropriate, BBP Light bv may be required by law to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such a case we will be obliged to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities offered to us by law.


Storage periods

We keep your data as long as you are our client. This means that we will keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also take this as a forgetting request. Pursuant to applicable administrative obligations, we are required to keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable period runs. Employees, however, no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced as a result of your assignment.


Your rights

Pursuant to current Dutch and European legislation, you, as a data subject, have certain rights with respect to the personal data processed by us or on our behalf. We explain below which rights these are and how you can invoke these rights. In principle, in order to prevent misuse, we will only send copies and copies of your data to your e-mail address already known to us. You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) and that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you, modified at any time. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been modified at the e-mail address we have on file.


Right to restrict processing

You always have the right to limit the data that we process (or have processed) relating to your person or that can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction. Right to transfer You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) and that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you, executed by another party. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or copies of all data relating to you that we have processed or that have been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties at the e-mail address known to us. In all probability, we will no longer be able to continue to provide the service in such a case because the secure linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.


Right of objection and other rights

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of BBP Light bv. If you object, we will immediately stop the data processing pending the processing of your objection.
