The Aputure INFINIMAT LED & Clear Softbox Pack 4x4 (122m x 122m) 4x4ft tunable color mat light with clear inflatable airbag (no control box).

Add to your INFINIMAT kit or build a custom configuration with this 4x4 INFINIMAT lamp head and airbag pack. The INFINIMAT 4x4 is a 800W four pixel lamp head.

INFINIMATs are an expandable system. Multiple INFINIMATs can be powered and controlled by the control boxes. The 400W control box can power up to three INFINIMATs and the 1,600W control box can power up to five INFINIMATs.

The INFINIMAT is a full-color RGBWW pixelated LED light mat kit designed as part of a modular, configurable lighting ecosystem. With multiple mat sizes, head-to-toe IP65 weather resistance, and the ability to power and control multiple lamp heads from a single control box, the INFINIMAT system offers unmatched versatility for productions where speed, weight, and adaptability are critical.

Each INFINIMAT lamp head is available with two light-shaping options:
• Clear inflatable airbags that provide the structural rigidity to hold the mat, diffusion cloth, lighting control grid, and skirt in place when rigged overhead or on stands. Users can operate the mat with the airbag clear for maximum output or attach included diffusion cloths for a softer source.
• Rigid-frame softboxes (available for 1×2, 1×4, 2×4, and 4×4 sizes) for traditional diffusion and fixed frame support.

Users can configure their own kit by selecting from sizes including 1×2, 1×4, 2×4, 4×4, 8×8, and 20×20 ft. Start with a full INFINIMAT kit (including a control box, lamp head, light-shaping option, and diffusion cloth) then expand by adding individual lamp head kits and control boxes that integrate seamlessly with your existing system and accessories.

The INFINIMAT ecosystem also supports a wide range of rigging and mounting solutions, from carbon fiber support brackets with K-Mount ball heads and TVMP adapters, to butterfly, Speed-Rail, and truss frames. Multiple mats can be combined or “tiled” together to create custom large-format soft light sources tailored to any set. Two control box options, 400W and 1600W, are available depending on your desired output and system scale. Both can power multiple lamp heads up to their rated wattage, dramatically reducing cable runs and rigging complexity. The 400W control box also features AC power pass-through, allowing multiple 400W units to be daisychained from a single power source for even greater efficiency.

Powered by an advanced RGBWW chipset, INFINIMAT offers a 2.000K–10.000K CCT range with green-magenta adjustment, >90% Rec. 2020 color coverage, and pixellevel control for creative lighting effects. Designed for professional motion picture production, the fixtures feature comprehensive connectivity (Sidus Link/Sidus Link Pro app control, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-net & sACN via etherCON, and 16-bit DMX512) and IP65-rated durability to perform reliably in the most demanding environments.

Each Aputure INFINIMAT is designed to seamlessly secure to an inflatable softbox of corresponding size using a hook-and-loop system around the border of the mats. The inflated softbox provides the structural support needed to hold the mat, lighting control grid, and skirt together when the entire unit is rigged overhead or on stands.

Each Aputure INFINIMAT also features multiple rigging methods. From a carbon fiber support bracket with a new K-Mount ball head terminating in an extended, knurled baby pin or a TVMP mount, to butterfly, Speed-Rail, and truss frames, all INFINIMATs can be rigged or supported using various methods. Coupled with multiple INFINIMAT sizes to choose from and the ability to stack mats together to create custom soft light source sizes, the INFINIMATs are one of the most versatile fixture families on the market.

Depending on the size of the Aputure INFINIMAT, users will have two control box options to choose from: a 400W or 1600W control box. Both control boxes can simultaneously power and control multiple lights at a time with power consumption levels up to the wattage of the control box. This improves cable management workflows as well as reduces the weight and complexity of rigged lighting set ups that call for multiple INFINIMATs. In addition, the 400W control boxes have AC power passthrough, which allow users to daisy chain multiple 400W control boxes together using Neutrik PowerCon cables. This AC power pass through feature further improves the cable management experience of running multiple INFINIMATs as users will only need to run one stinger to an entire array of INFINIMATs.

The Aputure INFINIMAT’s full-color LED chipset is capable of expanded color controls across its wide 2,000K to 10,000K CCT range with green-magenta adjustment and >90% coverage of colors within the Rec. 2020 color space.
